Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup figs, fresh or dried (if dried, soak before using)
  • 1 large banana, frozen
  • 1 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or protein powder (optional)

Instructions
 

  • If using dried figs, soak them in warm water for a few minutes to soften. Gather and measure all ingredients.
  • In a blender, add milk first, then banana, figs, spices, and any optional add-ins. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with figs, honey, or cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Use fresh or dried figs (soak dried figs in warm water for a few minutes). Customize with protein powder, nut butter, or greens. Store in the fridge up to 24 hours, or freeze in cubes and re-blend later. Garnish with fresh figs, a drizzle of honey, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
