Ingredients
  

Churro Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with whole wheat flour for healthier option.
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs Can use flax eggs or applesauce as substitutes.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Coating

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)

For Air Frying

  • Oil spray For spraying churro bites before air frying.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then mix in eggs and vanilla until well combined.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  • Use a piping bag to pipe small rounds of dough onto parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Spray the churro bites with oil and air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Coating and Serving

  • In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll the churro bites in the mixture while warm.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For softer churro bites, slightly reduce the air frying time. Double the batch for gatherings.
