Garlic Butter Bowtie Pasta with Ground Beef

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sal t
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through, then drain excess fat.
  • Reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked pasta and 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water to the skillet.
  • Toss the mixture continuously until the pasta is evenly coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley immediately before serving.
