Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone -in pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprik a
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to ensure proper adhesion of the coating.
  • In a shallow bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each pork chop in the Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly to create an even crust on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes per side until the crust is golden brown.
  • Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet, spooning the melted garlic butter over the chops for 1 minute.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
  • Remove from the oven and let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
