Equipment

  • Juicer or blender
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag (if using a blender)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh kale leaves or spinach
  • 1 cucumber peeled if not organic
  • 2 green apples Granny Smith preferred
  • 1 lemon peeled
  • 1- inch piece ginger root
  • 1 stalk celery
  • Optional 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • Optional 1/2 green pear
  • Optional 1 tbsp spirulina powder
  • Optional 1 small handful mint leaves
  • Optional 1/2 lime

Instructions
 

  • Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Roughly chop the ingredients into pieces that fit your juicer.
  • Start by juicing apples, celery, and cucumber to push through leafy greens.
  • Add kale and parsley (if using), then finish with lemon and ginger.
  • Stir well to mix any natural separation.
  • Serve immediately for maximum nutrient retention.
  • If using a blender, blend all ingredients with 1/4 cup water and strain before serving.

Notes

Drink on an empty stomach for best detox benefits.
Customize sweetness by adding more apple or pear.
Store in an airtight container for up to 24 hours, but fresh is best!
