Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup carrots , julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions , sliced for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and red pepper flakes to create the sauce.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until fully browned, breaking the meat into small crumbles with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes until the vegetables reach a tender-crisp texture.
  • Incorporate the minced garlic and grated ginger into the mixture and cook for 60 seconds until fragrant.

  • Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve immediately.
