Equipment

  • Large punch bowl or drink dispenser
  • Measuring Cups
  • Stirring spoon
  • Knife & cutting board

Ingredients

Juices

  • 3 cups pineapple juice fresh or canned
  • 2 cups orange juice not from concentrate
  • 1 cup papaya nectar
  • 1 cup guava juice
  • ½ cup cranberry juice

Fresh Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 orange thinly sliced into wheels
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup maraschino cherries with a bit of juice
  • 1 lime sliced

Flavor Boosters

  • ¼ cup grenadine
  • 3 tbsp honey or agave adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the fruits: Wash, hull, and slice all fresh fruits. If using fresh pineapple, remove the tough core.
  • Mix the juices: In a large punch bowl or drink dispenser, combine pineapple juice, orange juice, papaya nectar, guava juice, and cranberry juice. Stir well.
  • Add flavor boosters: Stir in grenadine, honey, lime juice, and almond extract until fully combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed.
  • Incorporate fresh fruits: Add most of the fruit slices and chunks, reserving some for garnish. Let the flavors meld.
  • Chill & serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. When ready, add plenty of ice and garnish with the reserved fruit slices.
  • Pro Tip: Make fruit ice cubes by freezing small fruit pieces with water in an ice cube tray to prevent dilution!

Notes

For a fizzy punch, add 2 cups of ginger ale or lemon-lime soda before serving.
To make it a Tropical Coconut Punch, mix in 1 cup coconut water and ¼ cup cream of coconut.
For an adult version, add 1-2 cups of white rum or coconut rum.
Can be made up to 24 hours in advance—just add ice right before serving.
