Ingredients
  

Dip Base

  • 1 package 8 oz package cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Can use Greek yogurt for a lighter twist.

Cheeses

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese Swap for a milder cheese if preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese For extra spice, increase the cayenne pepper.

Flavorings

  • 1 cup cooked ground sausage Can substitute with black beans for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 can 4 oz can diced green chiles, drained Make sure to drain well to avoid excess moisture.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Garnish and Serving

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.
  • Crackers, tortilla chips, or bread slices For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth.
  • Mix in the cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, cooked sausage, green chiles, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings. Stir until everything is evenly combined.

Baking

  • Spread the mixture into your greased baking dish. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Serving

  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm with chips, crackers, or bread.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store any unconsumed dip in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3–4 days. For freezing, ensure it's in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months.
