Ingredients

  • cups 195g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Wet Ingredients:

  • cups 295ml milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 5 tablespoons 70g melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Prepare Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Prepare Wet Ingredients:

  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Ingredients:

  • Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Gently fold until just combined; batter will be slightly lumpy. Let it rest for 5 minutes.

Preheat Griddle:

  • Heat a griddle or skillet to medium heat (375°F/190°C). Lightly grease with butter or oil.

Cook Pancakes:

  • Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form and edges are set, about 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden-brown.
