- 4 large fresh peaches 2 lbs or 907g sliced
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- A pinch of kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the peach filling: Wash and slice 4 cups of fresh peaches. In a saucepan, combine peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and ginger. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
