- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2-3 fresh mint leaves
- Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Bring filtered water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
Add ginger, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and cardamom pods.
Lower the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes uncovered.
Strain tea into a mug using a fine mesh strainer, pressing the solids.
Stir in honey, lemon juice, and mint (if using).
