- 1 medium honeydew melon about 5-6 cups cubed
- 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice about 5-6 lemons
- 1/3 cup honey or 1/2 cup sugar adjust based on melon sweetness
- 5 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint or lemon slices optional, for garnish
Cut honeydew in half, scoop out seeds, and remove rind. Chop into chunks.
Blend honeydew chunks until smooth (30-45 seconds).
Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing to extract juice.
Squeeze lemons and add the juice to the honeydew.
Stir in honey or sugar until dissolved.
Pour in the remaining water and mix well.
Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Serve over ice with lemon slices or mint for garnish.
For a fizzy version, replace half the water with sparkling water.
Blend cucumber with the honeydew for a refreshing twist.
Freeze honeydew chunks before blending for a slushy version.
Store leftovers in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to 4 days. Stir before serving.
