The Hugo Spritz is a light and refreshing cocktail, perfect for summer. Originating in Italy's Alto Adige region around 2005, it blends prosecco, elderflower liqueur, lime, mint, and soda water for a bubbly and floral drink.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 oz 90 ml chilled Prosecco
  • 2 oz 60 ml chilled club soda
  • 1 oz 30 ml elderflower liqueur (e.g., St. Germain)
  • 1 lime slice for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large wine glass with ice cubes.
  • Add fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime to the glass.
  • Pour in 1 oz (30 ml) of elderflower liqueur.
  • Slowly add 3 oz (90 ml) of chilled Prosecco.
  • Top with 2 oz (60 ml) of chilled club soda.
  • Stir gently with a bar spoon to mix the flavors.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime slice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
