Ingredients
  

Strawberry Puree

  • 4-5 pieces strawberries – fresh or frozen (thawed) Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.

Matcha Mixture

  • ½–1 tsp matcha powder Add more for a stronger matcha taste.
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water – hot or room temperature Mix with matcha to prevent clumps.
  • 1 tsp natural sweetener – maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to your liking.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Latte Base

  • ½ cup (125 ml) milk – or plant-based milk (almond, oat, coconut, or soy) Experiment with different plant-based milks for varied flavors.
  • Ice cubes ice cubes

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Mash the strawberries with a fork or blend until smooth to make the purée.
  • In a small bowl, mix matcha powder, water, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and lump-free.

Assembly

  • Pour the strawberry purée into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Add the milk, then pour the matcha mixture on top.
  • Stir gently with a spoon or straw, then enjoy your refreshing homemade iced strawberry matcha latte.

Notes

This drink is best enjoyed immediately after making it. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a day. The strawberry purée and matcha mixture can be made ahead of time.
