Ingredients
  

Pizza Base

  • 1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

Creamy Mixture

  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened) Use room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil For coating the pizza pan.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Toppings

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese About 4 slices.
  • 2 fresh jalapeños (sliced, seeds removed) Keep seeds for extra spice.
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F and lightly coat a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil.
  • Work the dough with your hands to shape it into a circle about 10 inches in diameter and transfer it to the prepared pan lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 3/4 to 1-inch border all around.
  • Place mozzarella cheese slices on top and sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese over it. Top with jalapeño slices.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle chives or other toppings you prefer on top, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store any uneaten pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze it by cooling, then placing slices in an airtight freezer bag with parchment separation.
