  • 1 cup heavy cream For a creamier texture, mix in a bit of cream cheese before baking.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with cheddar or gouda for a unique taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste Always taste before adding extra salt and pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  • Serve hot.
