- 1 package Hillshire Kielbasa sausage sliced
- 1 onion diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta penne or elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Colby cheese
In a large skillet, cook the kielbasa and onions over medium heat until lightly browned.
Add chicken broth, milk, salt, pepper, and uncooked pasta to the skillet.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked through.
Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup on top before serving.
