  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce For a gluten-free option, use tamari or coconut aminos.
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Garnishes

  • to taste green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • to taste sesame seeds Optional for garnish.

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the beef is browned.
  • Drain excess fat and stir in soy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve the savory beef over cooked rice.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the beef mixture for up to three months. Reheat gently on the stove over low heat or in a microwave.
