Instructions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until completely cooked through, breaking it into small crumbles with a spatula.
Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, toasted sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
Simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
Serve the beef mixture over bowls of warm cooked white rice.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
