  • Strainer
  • Teacup or mug

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon balm leaves or 1 tablespoon dried
  • 1 cup hot water 190°F
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional
  • 1 slice fresh lemon optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat water to just below boiling (about 190°F).
  • Place fresh or dried lemon balm leaves in a cup.
  • Pour hot water over the leaves.
  • Cover and steep for 8 minutes.
  • Strain the tea and discard the leaves.
  • Add raw honey, lemon slice, or grated ginger for extra flavor (optional).
  • Enjoy warm or over ice.

Notes

Drink 30 minutes before meals to naturally curb appetite.
Can be enjoyed hot or as an iced infusion for a refreshing detox drink.
For stronger effects, combine with cinnamon or green tea.
Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
