Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 2 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz each) Use fresh salmon for the best flavor.

For the glaze

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup Adjust for sweetness if desired.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce You can substitute with coconut aminos for gluten-free.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard Can be swapped with honey mustard for sweetness.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Optional: Use fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil To brush on salmon before cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Cook for 5 minutes, then brush with the maple glaze.
  • Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
