Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 4 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup Adjust for sweetness.
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cups milk Use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, yogurt, milk, vanilla extract, salt, matcha, and maple syrup in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Cover and put the mixture into the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving

  • When ready to enjoy, top with some chopped fruit or berries.
  • Serve with sliced bananas, fresh berries, or a sprinkle of nuts, alongside extra yogurt or warm milk.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days in a sealed container. Can be frozen and thawed overnight in the fridge before serving. For creamier oats, increase yogurt or milk.
