- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded aged cheddar cheese
- 1 ripe avocado sliced
- 1/4 cup Vidalia onions diced
- 1/4 cup red and yellow peppers diced
- Fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 lime juiced
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional, for heat
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns lightly toasted
Prepare the Patty:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko bread crumbs, diced onions, diced peppers, chopped cilantro, shredded cheddar cheese, and seasonings (chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper). Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.
