Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies, crushed

For the peanut butter layer

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)

For the chocolate layer

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Heat until simmering.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter to form the crust. Press it into the bottom of a 9x9 inch square dish.
  • In another bowl, mix peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped cream. Spread this mixture over the Oreo crust.
  • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate layer over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  • Top with remaining whipped cream.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, allow the dessert to chill for at least two hours. It can be enjoyed with toppings like chocolate syrup or crushed Oreos.
