Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure your butter is softened for easy mixing.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Nutella Can be substituted with other spreads like peanut butter or preserves.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing well.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Take a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, and place a small spoonful of Nutella in the center. Wrap the dough around the Nutella to form a ball.

Baking

  • Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Enjoy with a glass of milk!

Notes

To store, keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds before enjoying.
