Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons natural almond butter
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Flavor Enhancers:

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 –2 dates or 1 tablespoon maple syrup for extra sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds for fiber and thickness
  • Handful of spinach optional greens

Instructions
 

Prep Your Ingredients

  • Let the frozen banana sit for 2–3 minutes. Stir almond butter if separated.

Add Liquids First

  • In a blender, add almond milk and vanilla extract.

Add Powders Next

  • Add chocolate protein powder and cocoa powder.

Add the Rest

  • Add frozen banana, almond butter, sea salt, and any optional add-ins.

Blend Low to High

  • Start on low speed for 15–20 seconds, then blend on high for 45–60 seconds until smooth.

Adjust Consistency

  • Add more almond milk if too thick, or more frozen banana/ice cubes if too thin.

Taste and Adjust

  • Add cocoa, sweeteners, or nut butter to adjust flavor as desired.

Serve Immediately

  • Pour into a glass and enjoy right away for the best texture.

Notes

For a thicker texture, reduce liquid or add extra frozen banana.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir before drinking.
Make freezer smoothie packs by prepping all ingredients (except liquid) in advance.
