Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium-sized fresh okra pods
  • 1 cup 240 ml clean water

Instructions
 

  • Wash the okra pods thoroughly.
  • Slice the okra into thin pieces or pierce them with a knife.
  • Place the sliced okra in a glass jar or cup filled with water.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 8-24 hours.
  • Strain the okra water in the morning.
  • Discard the soaked okra pods and drink the infused water.

Notes

For best results, drink okra water first thing in the morning.
You can add a few slices of orange or lemon for extra flavor.
Store refrigerated for up to 3-4 days.
