Pasta and Seafood

  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp recommended for best flavor.
  • 1 cup crab meat

Creamy Sauce

  • 2 cups heavy cream Adjust creaminess by adding more or less.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Add additional Parmesan for garnishing.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnishing before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Cooking

  • Add the fettuccine or linguine, shrimp, and crab meat to the pot.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and the shrimp is pink.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish stores well in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, omit the parsley garnish and store in an airtight container.
