Equipment

  • Juicer or high-powered blender
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Small glass or shot glass
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium carrots
  • 1 medium blood orange
  • ½ lemon
  • 2- inch piece fresh turmeric
  • 1- inch piece fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for absorption boost

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop all ingredients into small pieces.
  • If using a juicer, process ingredients directly.
  • If using a blender, add ingredients with a splash of water and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer for a smooth consistency.
  • Pour into shot glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Best consumed on an empty stomach for maximum absorption.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Add black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption from turmeric.
Can be frozen in small portions for extended use.
