- 2 cups Greek yogurt full-fat recommended
- 3-4 ripe peaches peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Peel, pit, and puree the peaches using a blender or food processor until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, combine the peach puree, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to enhance flavors and texture.
Optional: Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture or leave some peach chunks for added bite.
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours if firmer texture is desired.
Before serving, let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes for easier scooping.
Using frozen peach chunks during the churning process prevents icy texture and adds delightful fruit bites.
Adjust sweetness to taste; peaches add natural sugar, so start with less sweetener.
Store leftover frozen yogurt in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed on the surface to prevent ice crystals.
Great topped with crushed graham crackers, toasted nuts, fresh mint, or a drizzle of honey with cinnamon.
Perfect for making parfaits or adult floats with prosecco.
