Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Can substitute with coconut oil for dairy-free.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute with crunchy peanut butter.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
  • Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter, then pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
  • Swirl the peanut butter through the batter with a knife.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Serving

  • Let cool before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve brownies warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle chocolate sauce over them. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
