Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Mixture

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract Adjust to taste.

Coating & Topping

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Add in the chocolate wafer crumbs, whipped cream, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Scoop the mixture into small balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.

Coating

  • Melt the chocolate and dip each bite into the melted chocolate, then place back on the tray.
  • Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top before the chocolate sets.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

These bites can be served on their own or alongside a warm cup of hot cocoa. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for up to a month. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
