Ingredients
  

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry thawed
  • 2 cups fresh fruits e.g., berries, apples, cherries
  • 1/2 cup jam or fruit preserve
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese optional, for fillings
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut the pastry into desired shapes (squares for turnovers, strips for tarts, etc.).
  • Add your chosen filling: fruits, jam, cream cheese, or Nutella.
  • Seal the edges with a fork, and brush with egg wash.
  • Place pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
