  • 1 whole wheat pita bread
  • 2 tablespoons marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices pepperon i
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven broiler to high and position the rack in the top third of the oven.
  • Place the pita bread on a baking sheet and spread the marinara sauce evenly across the surface.
  • Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and top with pepperoni slices and dried oregano.
  • Broil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and slightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for 1 minute, and slice into wedges.
