Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup protein powder Any type of protein powder works.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or your choice) Choose any nut butter preferred.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness as desired.

Add-ins (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Optional for extra sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds Optional for added texture.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and protein powder.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the nut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • If desired, fold in chocolate chips and nuts or seeds.
  • Scoop out the mixture and roll into small balls.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.

Notes

These protein balls are versatile; serve them as snacks or with yogurt/fruit. They can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week, or frozen for up to three months.
