Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over both sides and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.

Cooking

  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for best texture. Avoid overcooking to prevent mushiness.
