Fold in the caramel bits using a spatula.
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
