milk

tablespoons unsweetened
cocoa powder

cup salted
caramel sauce
1/2
teaspoon vanilla
extract

pinch fine
sea salt
Whipped cream
for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk, cocoa powder, and salted caramel sauce.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk continuously until the cocoa powder is fully incorporated and the mixture is steaming, but not boiling.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt.
Pour the hot chocolate into two mugs.
Top with whipped cream and an additional drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.
