- 2 pounds ground beef 85% lean
- 12-16 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cans 15 oz each tomato sauce
- 2 cans 14.5 oz each diced tomatoes
- 1-2 cups chicken or beef broth
- 1 large onion diced
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2-3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1-3 cups cheddar cheese grated
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onions until translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
Stir in garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1 minute to blend the flavors.
Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and uncooked pasta. Stir to combine and ensure the pasta is submerged.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
Remove the lid and stir in the grated cheddar cheese until melted.
