  • Foil (for lining the pan)
  • Silicone brush
  • Sharp Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ rub or seasoning of choice
  • Wood chips e.g., hickory, applewood, cherry, or pecan

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your smoker to 200-250°F.
  • Unwrap the cream cheese and place it on a foil-lined sheet pan.
  • Lightly coat the cream cheese with olive oil using a silicone brush.
  • Score the top of the cream cheese in a criss-cross pattern with a sharp knife to allow the smoke to penetrate.
  • Sprinkle your chosen BBQ rub or seasoning evenly over the cream cheese, covering all sides.
  • Place the cream cheese in the smoker and smoke for 1-2 hours, depending on the desired smoky flavor.
  • Remove the smoked cream cheese from the smoker once it’s golden brown and softened.
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.
