  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and let the chicken cook through, about 15 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken and shred it once cool enough to handle.

Cooking

  • Stir in the heavy cream, soy sauce, and sriracha into the broth, adjusting the heat to your preference.
  • Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions and then add them to the broth.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the pot and stir everything together.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For added spice, feel free to adjust the sriracha according to taste. This ramen pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
