Ingredients
  

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust for sweetness if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

For the Chicken and Topping

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, diced Cut evenly for even cooking.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Use any type of rice you prefer.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • to taste sesame seeds For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.

Cooking

  • Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.

Serving

  • Serve over cooked rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days. You can freeze the chicken for up to three months.
