Fruit and Juice Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Use ripe strawberries for the sweetest flavor.
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice Adjust according to taste preference.

Tea and Sweetener

  • 4 cups brewed black tea Brew according to package instructions and let cool.
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional, to taste) Add more sugar gradually if preferred.

For Serving

  • Ice cubes For serving chilled.
  • Fresh strawberries and lemon slices Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Brew the black tea according to package instructions and let it cool.
  • In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the strawberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
  • Add the cooled brewed tea to the pitcher and stir to combine.
  • If using, add sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.

Serving

  • Serve over ice and garnish with fresh strawberries and lemon slices if desired.

Notes

To keep your iced tea fresh, store it in the fridge in a covered pitcher. It’s best enjoyed within a few days. Do not freeze as it may change the texture.
