Preparation

  • In a blender, puree the fresh strawberries until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  • Add the pureed strawberries and crushed Oreo cookies to the mixture, folding gently to incorporate.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until firm.

Notes

For easier scooping, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. It can be served with extra crushed Oreos on top and drizzled with chocolate syrup for an added treat. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for about 2 weeks.
