  • 1 loaf Pound cake Thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Crushed shortbread cookies For added texture
  • 1 tbsp Pink sugar sprinkles For decoration
  • 4 oz White chocolate Melted, for drizzling

Preparation

  • Begin by slicing the pound cake into thin sheets.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth to create the cheesecake filling.
  • Spread a layer of the cheesecake filling over each pound cake sheet.
  • Place sliced fresh strawberries on top of the cheesecake filling.
  • Sprinkle crushed shortbread cookies over the strawberries for added texture.
  • Carefully roll up each sheet like sushi, securing the filling inside.
  • Melt the white chocolate and use it to drizzle over the rolled desserts.
  • Finish by sprinkling pink sugar sprinkles on top.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for a bit before slicing and serving.

Notes

For serving, add whipped cream for extra creaminess or fresh mint leaves for flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, best eaten within a couple of days.
