- 2 cups long-grain white rice e.g., basmati
- 4 cups chicken or beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce optional
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 1/2 cup diced onion optional
- 2 cloves minced garlic optional
Heat a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat and melt the butter.
