  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce You can use reduced-fat Alfredo sauce for a lighter option.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Always taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • for garnish Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for the best flavor.
  • for garnish Fresh basil Add more fresh basil for additional flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions; drain.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, homemade pesto, and Alfredo sauce.
  • Stir gently until the tortellini is evenly coated with the sauces.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can also freeze the tortellini for up to 3 months. For reheating, warm it gently and add a splash of water if it seems dry. For a heartier meal, add cooked chicken or shrimp, or veggies like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrients.
