Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 pounds Chuck Roast
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Celery stalks diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for browning

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Beef: Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels, then cut it into 1-inch cubes.
  • Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef in batches and brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the beef and set it aside.
  • Sauté Vegetables: In the same pot, add diced onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Combine Ingredients: Return the browned beef to the pot. Stir in soy sauce, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2-3 hours, until the beef is tender.
  • Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve over sticky rice or with sides like macaroni salad.
