Basic Traditional Yerba Mate

  • 2 –3 tablespoons loose leaf yerba mate
  • 16 oz hot water 160–180°F, not boiling
  • Optional: lemon slice mint leaves

Morning Fat-Burning Blend

  • 3 tablespoons yerba mate
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional
  • 16 oz hot water

Evening Wind-Down Blend

  • 1 tablespoon yerba mate
  • 1 teaspoon chamomile
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 12 oz warm water

Instructions
 

Basic Traditional Yerba Mate

  • Fill your gourd or French press with yerba mate leaves.
  • Add a small amount of cool water to moisten the leaves.
  • Insert your bombilla or place the lid on the French press.
  • Slowly pour hot (not boiling) water to fill 2/3 of the container.
  • Sip and refill as needed—the leaves stay good for several rounds.

Morning Fat-Burning Blend

  • Place yerba mate, ginger, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a French press or tea pot.
  • Add 16 oz of hot water (160–180°F).
  • Let steep for 5–7 minutes.
  • Optional: Add raw honey. Stir and sip mindfully.

Evening Wind-Down Blend

  • Combine yerba mate, chamomile, and mint leaves.
  • Pour 12 oz of warm (not hot) water.
  • Let steep for 5–7 minutes.
  • Strain and sip slowly before bedtime.

Notes

Avoid boiling water—it can destroy yerba mate’s beneficial compounds and cause bitterness.
Best consumed 30 minutes before breakfast or lunch for optimal fat-burning.
